Free ecommerce website builders for Bangladeshi sellers: what “free” includes
“Free website” means something different on every builder. On one it means 15 products, on another 5% of every order, on a third a website that cannot take an order at all. Here is what each free option open to a Bangladeshi seller includes, from each builder’s own pages as read on 7 October 2026, and what it costs once you outgrow it.
1. A Facebook Shop is not one of them
Many sellers assume the free option is a shop tab on their Facebook Page. Meta’s 2023 list of countries that could keep a shop on a Facebook or Instagram Page did not include Bangladesh, and tagging products in posts went with it. Unless Meta has changed that list since, a Bangladeshi Page needs a website of its own to show a catalogue.
2. Zatiq
Zatiq’s homepage counter shows about 55,000 active shops. Its free plan allows 20 products, of which 10 can be your own and 10 resold from suppliers, with two preset themes, and it takes 5% of every physical-goods order (10% for digital goods, 3% for resold items). Removing the fee takes the Starter plan at ৳599 a month, which also raises the cap to 500 products; Pro is ৳1,099 and Growth ৳2,499. Your own domain needs a paid plan.
The 5% is the figure to work out. On ৳2,00,000 of orders a month it is ৳10,000, far more than any of the paid plans.
3. Klytosell
A no-code Bangladeshi builder whose free plan is free for good, on a subdomain, with up to 15 products and no commission on sales. Basic, at ৳250 a month, allows 50 products and your own domain; Standard is ৳599 for 200 products, and Premium ৳999 for 10,000.
4. Funnelliner
A website and sales-funnel builder priced by orders rather than products. Its Basic plan is free for shops with fewer than 20 orders a month; Startup is ৳900 a month for up to 500 orders, and the price rises with your order count from there. An AI chatbot for the Page inbox is listed as coming soon.
5. The global builders
Wix has a free plan, but it cannot sell: taking orders starts at its Core plan, $29 a month billed yearly in the US by Website Builder Expert’s September 2026 review, and Wix says its prices vary by location. WordPress.com’s free plan cannot install plugins, so it cannot run WooCommerce. Shopify has no free plan, only a trial of three days and then $1 a month for three months. Ecwid has dropped its free plan, and its cheapest is $5 a month for 10 products.
6. Free, but not quite a shop website
Google Sites costs nothing but has no cart or checkout, so every order still ends up in your inbox. The WhatsApp Business app holds a catalogue of up to 500 items that customers can browse inside WhatsApp, which is useful, but it is not a website you can put in your bio or be found by on Google. Websites made with a Google Business Profile were switched off in 2024.
7. Paid from the start
DeshiCommerce (from ৳500 a month), Bitcommerz (from ৳1,299 a month) and SeloraX (from ৳1,499 a month) offer a free trial instead of a free plan, and StoreX (from ৳11,880 a year, or a one-time ৳5,000 offer for two years) shows neither. They are worth comparing when you are ready to pay, not when you are starting out.
8. How to choose a free builder
Check four things before you upload a single product. How many products can you add, and how many of them your own? Does it take a share of each order, and how much? Can you move to your own domain later, and what does that cost? And where do orders reach you: beside the orders you already take in chat, or in a separate dashboard you have to remember to open?
The last one matters more than it looks. A Facebook shop takes most of its orders in Messenger. A website whose orders and stock live somewhere else means two stock counts, and two stock counts is how the same last piece gets sold twice.
In Sells Pilot the shop website is included on every plan, the free one too, with no product limit and no commission on orders. It is built from the catalogue your Messenger and Instagram assistant answers from, so a website order and a chat order come out of the same stock and land in the same list of orders. It lives on an address of its own with us; using a domain you own is not available yet.
