How to delete your data
Last updated 7 October 2026
You can ask us to delete everything we hold about you at any time, and you do not need an account with us to ask. Sells Pilot signs merchants in with Facebook and answers their customers on Messenger, so the data below is what Facebook has given us about you.
From Facebook
This is the fastest way, because Facebook tells us who you are as it asks.
- Open Facebook, then Settings and privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
- Find Sells Pilot in the list and choose Remove.
- Tick the box offering to delete the posts and data the app holds, then confirm.
Facebook then gives you a confirmation code and a link to a page on this site where you can check that the deletion finished.
By email
If you would rather write to us, or you have already removed the app and want to be sure, send us the email address or Facebook name you used: support@sellspilot.com
What we delete
Everything Facebook told us about you as a person:
- Your Facebook account id, which is what links a sign-in to an account here.
- Your Facebook profile picture.
- Anything left over from connecting a Page: the access token and the list of Pages your account manages.
What stays, and why
A shop's own records stay: its orders, its products, its stock and its customers belong to the business, not to the Facebook account that opened the account with Sells Pilot. A merchant is also required to keep sales records, and deleting a working shop because somebody unlinked a login would be a much larger thing than was asked for.
Your account here stays too, reachable with the email address on it, so removing Facebook costs you nothing but the Facebook button. If you want the shop and everything in it deleted as well, say so in your email and we will do that instead.
How long it takes
A request that arrives through Facebook is acted on within minutes, and the status page will say so. A request by email is answered within 30 days, and usually the same week.
