Terms of service
Last updated 7 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Sells Pilot. Opening an account means agreeing to them. They are written to be read: where a sentence could have been longer and vaguer, it was made shorter and plainer instead.
What the service is
Sells Pilot connects a shop's Facebook Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp number to an assistant that answers customer messages, and gives the shop a catalogue, an order pipeline, a counter, a shop front and reports. We provide the software. The shop is the one trading.
Your account
One account belongs to one business. You are responsible for who you give access to and for what they do with it, so give staff their own logins rather than sharing one, and tell us at once if you think an account has been taken. You must give us accurate details and keep them current, and you must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
What you are responsible for
Everything about the trade itself: the goods, the prices you publish, the stock figures you enter, the promises you make and the orders you fulfil. You are responsible for the legality of what you sell and for your own obligations to your customers and to the tax authority. You are responsible for the customer data you bring into the account and for having the right to hold it.
The assistant, and its limits
The assistant drafts replies with a language model. Every draft is checked against your own database before it is sent — a price or a stock figure the catalogue does not support is refused rather than sent — but it is software, it can misread a customer and it can be wrong. Messages sent from your account are yours. Read what it says, correct it where it is wrong, and switch it off for a conversation whenever you would rather answer yourself.
Plans and billing
Plans are prepaid, in Bangladeshi taka, through the gateways in the dashboard. A plan carries an allowance; assistant sends stop when the allowance is used up and start again the moment the account is topped up or upgraded, and nothing else about the account stops with them. Prices may change, and a change is announced before it applies to you, never after.
Refunds and cancellation
Cancel whenever you like, from the dashboard, and nothing further is charged. Because plans are prepaid, an unused balance is not automatically refunded and a period already begun is not refunded part way through — but if we billed you twice, billed you for something you never got, or a fault of ours stopped you using what you paid for, write to us and we will put it right. A top-up refunded is returned by the same route it arrived, less whatever the gateway keeps, within 10 working days of us agreeing to it.
Acceptable use
You must follow Meta's platform policies, including the rules about the 24-hour messaging window and message tags — those rules protect the Page you would otherwise lose. Do not use Sells Pilot to send messages people did not ask for, to mislead anyone about who you are, to sell what the law or Meta forbids, to break into anything, or to interfere with the service for anyone else.
Suspension and ending it
We can suspend an account that is breaking these terms, breaking Meta's, or putting the service at risk. Except where the law or an immediate risk requires otherwise, we tell you why and give you a chance to fix it. You can close your account at any time, and for 30 days afterwards we will still give you an export of your data if you ask.
Availability
We work to keep the service up, and we do not promise it never goes down. It depends on Meta's APIs, on payment gateways and on couriers, and none of those is ours: when Meta changes a rule or has an outage, messages may be delayed or refused. Maintenance is announced in advance where we can. No guarantee is made that a message will be delivered, because that decision is Meta's.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, lost data or indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else the law does not let us limit.
Who owns what
The software, the design and the brand are ours and stay ours. Your catalogue, your photographs, your conversations and your orders are yours and stay yours — you give us only the permission needed to host them, show them to your customers and run the service. We may say that you are a customer of ours, and we will stop if you ask.
Data
How we handle data, on both sides of a conversation, is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms: Privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and a change that matters is announced in the dashboard before it takes effect. Carrying on using the service after that is how the new version is accepted; if you would rather not, close the account and tell us, and we will refund the unused part of a prepaid period.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction. If any part of them is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
